Georgia Center for Cancer Statistics

The mission of the GCCS is to conduct research, teaching and service related to cancer surveillance and epidemiology. These activities include:

• Operation of cancer registries in Georgia
• Analytic studies focused on cancer prevention and control
• Courses and other academic experiences in cancer surveillance and epidemiology in the Rollins School of Public Health
• Resources for the cancer control program of the Georgia Department of Community Health
• Resources for cancer registration and epidemiology for hospitals and other health care providers in the state
